Amazing location inside the park. Great flexibility and willingness to help when weather conditions force a change of plans. Minor details such as low water pressure and cleanliness are probably explained by the park conditions.

Don’t go!!! The road was full of ice and the car despite of the chaons was not safe to go up! I called the hotel and told me they couldn’t refund my money because a third party expedia didn’t allow them! We had to book another hotel and leave the place

Gorgeous area and very hospitable staff. They weren’t prepared for the amount of guests though as they were out of most of the menu options both days we were there. The guest lodges don’t have elevators and a not party if the main lobby area. We brought flashlights for the walk back to the room at night as it’s pretty dark. Overall great spot and would stay there again. Very quiet and beautiful!

Receptionist staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We loved the snow all around. The restaurant serves good food, not amazing but good and is quite expensive. Cleanliness could be improved. The rooms were a bit noisy. The TV could be a smart TV instead of an older model - specially when spending time in the room when too cold outside. Having said that, I would definitely return in the future.

When showering the cold and hot water is broken. When we turn the hot water all the way to the right and the water is very cold and when we turn half way for hot water, the water boiling hot OMG.

It was great to wake up and be in the park! You can get to the sites you want to see before folks who stay outside the park can since it takes almost an hour to get to Wuksachi Lodge from the park entrance. Room was nice, there's a restaurant in the check-in area if you want food. Rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave. The pillows were among the best I've used at a hotel. Before you head out, check the weather conditions for the lodge, because it can be significantly different at the 7k foot elevation than it is at 3k feet.

Wuksachi Lodge is a hidden gem in the sequoia national park. It was quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the lodge. The staff was outstanding, and so welcoming and fun! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Location is great! We previously stayed in Visalia, but the amount of driving limited what we could do. Wuksachi is 20 minutes away from the giant forest, so we could stay in the park well after sunset. We came at the first re-opening of the season. The food was a mixed bag. Some of it was great, and unbeatable in such a remote place. But for the cost, I think sometimes it was pretty unpalatable. I would particularly like to draw attention to the breakfast pastries, which were excellent on the first day, but VERY bland and soggy on the second day. The room was quiet, and generally clean. We did notice the ceiling fan was pretty dusty, but we didn’t use it much given the temperature. Where it mattered (bathroom, bed, tables), surfaces were clean and ready. Overall, I would recommend Wuksachi for the location and reasonable accommodations, with the caveat that there is room for improvement.

The Price of food was Crazy. $3 to add cheese to a hamburger that is already $18.99 - Really?? $22 for breakfast. Once you're there - they got you - no other options. This is after paying over $300 for our room. Also really NOTHING to do at this location - move on & enjoy the Beautiful area - just don't stay here!!

Visited fall 2023. Most of the staff seemed miserable, not very happy to help. Restaurant bathroom was very dirty. For the price, it was very disappointing. It was more so disappointing that we were really excited to explore the park, but cleanliness of lodging and restaurant and low mood of staff really dampened the experience.

Great little hotel. We ended up leaving a day early due to a storm coming in. I was afraid we wouldn’t be able to leave the next morning knowing I had to be in San Fran that afternoon. They were great crediting me back that night that night left.

Best hotel in my CA trip was this gem
Amazing lodge. Lovely surrounds. We had a small issue with the bathroom and the front desk and housekeeping manager jumped on it and resolved to my satisfaction. Loved the dedication. Will recommend highly to others visiting the area or will also consider returning in future when I visit CA.

It’s a great staying in the quiet national park. Hope the road sign can be more obvious. We can not find the guest rooms when we arrived first night. Staff are super kind and friendly in the restaurant and we had a happy new year in the lodge

We arrived at night, no lighting in parking lot or around building. You go up many steps in the dark. Limited parking near building. We were on the 3rd floor, no elevator. We are older adults with knee issues. Would never have booked if they had these things in the description. Rooms were discusting. Months of dust on the furniture. Building in need of major renovations. NOT worth the price.

Pet friendly - not really!
We were traveling with our dog. Even though they say pet friendly all their rules and up- charges kind of put a damper on our experience. We love Sequoia though.

The lodge is inside Sequoia National Park. While I understand that the pricing is in general higher due to the location, I would expect a better room with a $338 per night rate. However, the room meets basic standard of a 2-star hotel room, and the tub drain is clogged. Not worth of the money.
