Though I did end up with a broken bag after both flights, the over app flight experience was good. They took off almost an hour late but made up the time as best they could, and offered free alcoholic beverages to those who ordered them for the inconvenience. Though I don’t not believe the delay had anything to do with the efficiency of the airline itself, rather the fact that the DC airport had previous experience a fire earlier in the day. So I can completely understand the situation. AA did their best and provided good costumer service. I was able to watch a movie and had plenty of room to crochet, and have a drink, all while in the middle seat, which says a lot. I had a good trip and look forward to my flight home.
