Cilento Adults Only Vacations

The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

A beautiful hotel overlooking Sorrento and the bay, there's a regular shuttle bus to and from town but if you're feeling adventurous or like a run, there's a path that takes you into town in 15 minutes, I wouldn't recommend coming back up in the height of Summer. The hotel is spotless, we had the partial room option and the view from our balcony was breath taking. The pool was beautiful as were the outside grounds. The staff couldn't do enough to help and the breakfast buffet was sumptuous - Tiramisu for breakfast - yes please!

Really good location, loved being on the water (especially in the evening). It was easy to get to and from all parts of the city and felt like we had more breathing space on the bay. We had a lovely little terrace and used it every evening. The hotel staff were generally friendly. The hotel has seen better days, faded grandeur might even be generous. The bathroom was covered in mould and if we hadn’t been so tired and not noticed the first night we would have asked to move, but there were signs of the same in the corridors anyway. The room was also smaller than pictures but I think we had been moved. Bigger terrace but smaller room. We had a “special rate” which was apparently almost half price (not quite when compared). Not sure we would stay again but relative to other options the location and personal outside space overlooking the bay were really good. Would look for a deal at one of the newer hotels / more recently refurbished nearby.

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Room was clean and well maintained. Pool bar area was excellent! Did not get to enjoy the other amenities due to lack of time. Will be back for a longer stay! Five stars!

Good breakfast variety considering the hotel is quite small. Free shuttle timetable from the hotel which you could book on to at short notice to get in and back from Sorrento. Good room size and amenities - dressing gown and slippers were a lovely touch. Staff spoke brilliant English and were very helpful via WhatsApp. Hotel guests had access to sunbeds for free everyday with towels and a bottle of water. If you are there early enough, you could get one of the pool front beds. Only suggestion would be to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room everyday rather than having to rely on the minibar.

Excellent location for visiting the wider Amalfi coast. The hotel is actually in San Gennaro near Praiano. San Gennaro was a lovely village/town with excellent restaurants and bus service. The hotel has wonderful views of the Amalfi coast to Positano and as far as Capri in the distance. We highly recommend booking a table for dinner on the hotel balcony, both for the view as well as the quality of the food. The rooftop pool area was a delight following a day visiting/touring the coastal towns. I cannot compliment the hotel staff highly enough for the level of service and their cheerful attitude, which is a credit to the hotel owners who themselves were equally helpful. We booked a room without a balcony which was clean (always a priority) and perfectly functional - the rooftop area more than compensated for the lack of view from the room

The staff was absolutely perfect! Antonio upgraded our room to a beautiful room with an amazing view, and he even gave us a ride to downtown in his car. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel — everything was excellent!
