El Arenal Beach Vacations

I had one issue with the hotel. Before our arrival, I sent them two emails, one of which was asking whether they could arrange an airport transfer for us. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to either of our emails.

Staff were not welcoming, when we arrived the receptionists greeted us with a “what?”. There were no water as complimentary which most hotels give on the first day. The fridge had few drinks that were empty from previous guests. We called to inform this and they hang up on us. The area is crowded, parking is pretty full which means you have to park far away from the hotel leading to more opportunities for break ins. The pool is packed, and this is a party vibe which I do not recommend for couples/families trying to relax.

Went specifically for the eclipse. Got a fantastic view from the rooftop bar. Awesome

The AC was not working properly in the room and overall building. You have to leave the room key inserted, in order for it to be turned on, and it takes about an hour just to feel a slight difference. Throughout the whole night the room felt extremely hot and humid. It was very uncomfortable. I would never stay here again.

Really good hôtel verry clean and the staff is so helpfull and nice
