Good hotel room (a bit small for a double room). Very expensive breakfast (did not try it so it might still be good). Missed cleaning one day (or only did half the cleaning), otherwise nice and clean and good standard on things. One of the best showers I’ve seen in a hotel. Super small toilet area.

We ordered takeaway breakfast for our date of departure as we had to catch an early flight. The order was confirmed by email and at check in by the front desk staff. However, due to an internal communication error, the order was not communicated to the kitchen and we were left without any breakfast. We however saw the front desk staff when checking with the kitchen took the opportunity to make herself a ham and cheese sandwich and did not offer it to us. The changing room of the fitness centre has an odor of sweat due to lack of ventilation and proper cleaning.

Loved my stay here! Although I traveled solo, there is sufficient room for a large family/group. The view of the fjord is extraordinary, and I found myself sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife for hours. The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv, Slættaratindur, or many other places of interset for visitors. While nice and secluded, the nearest grocery or Rusan's is only ~16-20 minutes away.
