A beautiful spot in Bowen, easy parking and great rooms right on the beach. Comfortable beds and a pleasant stay.

Not our first visit and won’t be our last. Lovely rooms and really great restaurant at northerlies. 10 mins to Airlie, even less to all the conveniences you could need, supermarkets, chemists, pubs, etc. Staff we kind and extremely helpful. Continental breakfast is good for those that like or need to eat earlier and a bonus. Fabulous views over Airlie.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and the view was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend!

Spacious room Josephine was great

Room was clean very spacious. Little dated but not an issue. Great location easy walk to town. Well maintained gardens and pool. Check in staff very nice and helpful.

qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments. Room was very clean modern and well maintained. The hot tub was great would have liked option to have room cleaned daily, missed this as we stayed for 4 nights which means room not serviced

Loved it here! So peaceful, beautiful and an amazing escape. Was a shame the jacuzzi section of the pool wasn’t heated as we were there in off season. Everything else was great! Well worth the price.

Had everything needed to entertain the Kids. They didn’t want to leave
