Big Torch Key Pet-friendly Vacations

This was a great place to stay in the Pompano Beach area. The place is a little old but well maintained. The staff at the front desk were helpful and efficient. The room was great. We had the king suite and it was big. The beds were comfortable, the TV great, the kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the room was roomy and comfy. The best was the view. Right outside the room there was a pond and across it, just a few feet away, there was a beach. We could not enjoy it much because of the sargasum, but the view and the walk was worth it. The pool was very inviting and refreshing, and the day we arrived the staff was serving free mimosas and hot dogs, which made it even better. Overall, I would recommend staying at this property. The rates were not crazy high, the rooms are spacious and well appointed and there are a lot of things to do around to keep you busy.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Overall the hotel is in a great location. Initial service staff were accommodating and helpful, especially the bell staff. However, after checking in, any requests from the front desk takes quite a while. Valet charged me twice, no refund was provided despite acknowledgment only one evening of usage. We stayed for 5 nights in one of the two bedroom suites. For a 5 Star hotel, I expected more.

We were unable to stay at this property and the person at the door would not us in. The person I spoke to by phone insisted someone(unidentified) sent me an email saying there was no vacancy. There was no email and I prepaid for two nights. We had to find another place at 1:30 am. Glad we had rented a car.

The property is great. The location is perfect. The room was outstanding. Checkin is an absolute nightmare!!! Took us an hour from arrival to get our room. It's all done online, nobody to greet you. I saw one person in 4 days on the property. Requested fresh towels sent a text message had to send it again 8 hours later. Finally, got our towels.

Pleas don’t book the apartment in this hotel. It’s not associated with the hotel services. The 2nd room has 3 beds all bed sheets were dirty. The has prior hair from guest before us. Behind the headboard I found a dirty t-shirt. Hall restroom tub was rusted and peeling, I was disgusted to see that. The other restroom still had a long hair in the tub. Sanitary is NOT a priority for the owner of this apartment. The price I paid for my 4 day was a steel. Also, beach gear was a laugh in the face. No beach chair, no wagon and the umbrella covered 1 person. I reached out to the person but never showed up with clean sheets. I had to invest in my stay detergent, sanitizing wipes, trash bags and toilet covers. Let me know forget to say, on my first stay the bottom of my feet was all black from the floors being super dirty. The only good thing of the place was the beach distance.
