Northern Norway Pet-friendly Vacations

We stayed in the junior suite and the room and view were spectacular! We had to leave early and the staff prepared us a breakfast bag to go. Wonderful! We were there for a wedding and the venue was so beautiful. Every attention to detail. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating.

First up the food in the restaurant was 5 star. Limited bar but what they had was good. Rooms super clean and best bed I’ve slept in, in the 3 weeks in Norway, so comfortable and warm. Incredible views of the fjord and mountains. Hot water and clean bathroom. Only downside was shower a bit small.

Ideal location for overnight stop. Parking on nearby street if hotel car park full. Very helpful staff on reception. Clean room and public areas very neat and tidy. Standard of food is not great but adequate. Coeliac choices but limited - Evening meal (1 course) is included in room price, but coeliac choice was overcooked with watery veg. Dining room staff over zealous clearing away in a morning. Large tour groups use this hotel. Would visit again.

Tiny room, but OK because the floor plan was excellent. Very nice hotel all inn all. Only slight negative: - Too much “green”, environment nagging. - Some of the staff spoke neither Norwegian nor English all that well.

Great hotel

This is an amazing place. Right on the Harbour and you can see the boats at the harbour from your window. The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. In particular, Edda (?) was an example of what this service should be. To top it off, breakfast afternoon, coffee/tea, and dinner were all free. This Home Hotel would get my top recommendation.
