North Alabama Pet-friendly Vacations

The Hotel was a mixed bag experience. Employees were wonderful. The not-so-great included: Very worn, dirty furniture in lobby and public areas. Just nasty. Elevator doors inside were corroded. The rooms which i understand had been updated were poorly thought out with regard to guest convenience in that there was not one place to put folded clothes ( underwear, sleepwear, etc). There are no drawers! So, we had clothing folded lying on the furniture, limiting our options to sit (replace the tub and put in dresser drawers!). Shower floor appeared moldy. Rooms were very small. This hotel missed the mark for a Westin. It could be fantastic with some changes.

Booked bc rating said 8+. Definitely not. Disappointed the hot tub was coved with crime scene tape and appeared to have been inoperative for a very long time, by the amount of growth in it. Probably with no hope for repair. Tiles off pool everywhere but still usable. Poorly maintained and pictures on booking site are very misleading. Unfriendly front desk clerk. Trash cans full and smokers pole out the back entrance overflowing. The Asian restaurant on site was great, clean and good. Beds comfortable but pillows were flat and undesirable. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate but no good coffee creamer.
