Panhandle Plains Scuba Diving Vacations

We found the Atrium to be a nice stay. It is an older hotel, but there have been obvious updates made, and looks as though more are coming as far as carpets and paint etc. It smelled really nice, never saw anything other than cleanliness. There were spots here and there where paint could be touched up or something minor like that, but overall there was nothing to make is feel as though it was run down or too old. The staff we encountered was always courteous and helpful. Breakfast was really good, and the coffee was strong and tasty. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. One sink struggled with draining but it was just a bit slow. The pool area was lovely but the kids found it way too cold to swim in so that was disappointing. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Since being SMU parents this fall we have tried 4 hotels thus far and the Cresent has far exceeded our expectations. We were actually bummed about not being at the Swexan due to it's high cost of 2K per night for Parents weekend we settled on the Cresent and found that it was far more superior in expansive Suite for less. The pool was chill and you can order from the restaurants there as well. The area has alot more to offer in shops and places to eat and they also have a hotel car to take you to SMU and back. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well prepared and served and what treat to have Nobu if you want to eat in. Loved our Suite and looking forward to coming back again and again!

The room itself is clean, looks nice, and it is comfortable. We stayed 3 nights (2 of them not booked on Expedia) and for the most part the staff was completely unfriendly and unprofessional, except for 2 valets on our 3rd day there. When we first arrived the staff was having an argument amongst themselves that we could hear from the waiting room. Our second day someone entered our room without knocking and when they saw us they immediately left without apologizing or giving us any explanation. The valets took forever to get our cars and again for most part they weren’t even in their designed spot, we only have competent valets on our 3rd day. Our 4th and last day, my friend needed to use the lobby restroom and the host said they didn’t know where it was. The area is also not great. I’d rate this hotel as a 3.8/5, just because of the poor customer service and bad area, but the amenities are good.

I booked this to enjoy a special experience - however, the place was not friendly to black people and the staff seemed to question my belonging. Money is green. I paid for luxury but got the cold shoulder. The internet in my room didn’t work as well.

This place is one of worst apartments we have rented from. Per email we’re supposed to have code for the key box 72 hours. Then it said 30 mins before check in. No code was ever given. We had to then call 4 numbers to even a property manager to let us in. When you walked into apartment all you could smell was weed. We finally got into apartment at 345. We change clothes and head to pool for an hour. Which there is no signage or map to property any where. Mind this is why rented this space for weekend was to be able to relax at the pool only to find out it was chain shut down. When asked the manager on text because your contact info didn’t have enough service mind that was supposed to be 24/7. Now let’s go sercuirty. While showering to get ready for the evening I hear a knock on the door. I’m in the middle of the shower and didn’t answer it. My people were inside the apartment the maintenance man walked in apartment. And was knocking on the bathroom door. If this a not a violation I don’t know what is. To find out he was in wrong apartment. Now let’s go main security issue. The main door doesn’t lock. You shut the door and you can open right up with no keys. The bedroom door have key on the living room side but no way to lock it on inside so we are having to secure all belongs 24/7 because our apartment doesn’t lock or even the bedrooms. How well do you think you could sleep. Let talk about the little details. Have you actually tried to sleep on bed ?
