We truly enjoyed the property. The room and bathroom were very dark. Would be helpful to have better lighting. You also have to carry you luggage up

The place was so beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Both of the restaurants were excellent and the food was incredible.

On arrival, lack of a warm welcome and information about anything. Given the keys to what I can only describe as a dingy dark hole in the attic with thread bear stained carpet. Asked to move rooms straight away. Second room... Stains on carpet, peeling paint, cracked tiles, couldn't open any windows, coffee making items non existent but coffee machine in place. Light bulb missing, light fittings loose. Dirty wine glass given when we asked a reception staff member for a drink from the bar. Restaurant not open. Overall this place felt really depressing, lacking in life and friendliness. Stayed 1 night instead of 4 and found somewhere else. Can't comment on breakfast as it didn't seem to be there and no one bothered to show us where anything was. So disappointed as this was a special treat for my husband.

Absolute perfection — a dream come true in Normandy! From the moment we arrived at Château de Sully, it felt like stepping into an absolute fairytale. Calling it a hotel almost doesn’t do it justice; it is a true "dreams come true" experience. The castle itself is breathtaking, and the sprawling, perfectly manicured grounds and English park create a sense of serene tranquility that immediately puts you at ease. Walking through the estate was pure magic. The highlight of our stay, however, was the dining experience at their restaurant. We opted for the tasting menu, and to say it exceeded expectations would be an understatement—it was hands down the best meal we have ever had. Every course was masterfully prepared, exquisitely presented, and packed with extraordinary flavor. What truly elevated our entire stay was the exceptional hospitality of our evening hosts, Thomas and Chris. They provided a level of warmth, attentiveness, and personalized care that created a unforgettable experience unlike anything we’ve ever had before. Their service made us feel so welcome and turned a wonderful evening into a cherished memory. If you are visiting Normandy, do not hesitate to stay and dine here. The chef here has had a Michelin star each year for 24 years. His food is excellent The facilities are perfect including a secure car park. Staff first class. 5 star hotel
