The staff were excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was much larger than we expected and extremely comfortable.

This was truly a wonderful and special stay. The hotel and property was beautiful and peaceful and close enough to d-day and other WW2 sites, Bayeux and other towns for getting out and exploring. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant one night as well and it was flavorful and well cooked. We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient/close to Bayeux. Room was spacious and clean. In-room refrigerator and nespresso machine were much appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had so many historic sights to see that we didn’t spend enough time at the hotel to appreciate the surroundings, food or spa treatments. The WiFi is spotty…Mostly poor or didn’t connect. Some cheap materials used in modernizing (bathroom fixtures) and more outlets would have been helpful. The pro greatly outweigh the cons. We would definitely stay here again and we would better utilize the restaurant and facilities.

The hotel was renovated but maintained its French charm. The location was excellent, less than 0.5 miles from the downtown. The room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers to Bayeux.

The chef here has had a Michelin star each year for 24 years. His food is excellent The facilities are perfect including a secure car park. Staff first class. 5 star hotel

Gorgeous property, inside and outside. Sublime!

The hotel was generally clean. Some parts were a little run down, but nothing major. The pool was very cold, despite been listed as heated - even in the August heat wave! The hotel advertises air conditioning - it does not have A/C!! It has a general 'air cooling system' which doesn't cool the rooms in the slightest. You can't alter the temperature in the room and no cool air comes from the vent. This was confirmed by reception when we reported our 'A/C' not working.
