What you can expect

Your trip to Monument Valley begins with a scenic drive to the famous Oak Creek Canyon. Enjoy the comfort of a 14-passenger vehicle as an experienced guide regales you with tales of the Southwest and make frequent photo stops on your way to admire the massive red buttes of Monument Valley.

Drive through the San Francisco Volcanic Field to the famous and historic Cameron Trading Post, established in 1916 and a fascinating introduction to Navajo crafts. Along the way, your guide shares stories about Native American history and culture.

Next, head into the land of the Diné Bikéyah (Navajoland) and see the traditional houses of the Navajo on your way to Navajo Nation, a Native American reservation. Once at Monument Valley Tribal Park, take in spectacular views of the red rock monoliths ascending from the valley floor and enjoy a delicious lunch (included.).

Inspiration to medicine men and Hollywood directors, Monument Valley and its vast sandstone buttes make one of the most remarkable scenes in the world—as well as a picturesque background in many Western films. You’ll embark on a 1.5 hour off-road journey with a Native American guide via the scenic drive through Monument Valley Tribal Park.
