On the international front, Thursday is the cheapest day to fly\u2014travellers can save up to 7 per cent compared to flying on a Saturday.<sup>3<\/sup>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Myth #4:<\/strong><em> &#8220;The further ahead you book, the cheaper it will be.&#8221;<\/em> &nbsp;<br><strong>Busted:<\/strong> There\u2019s a magic window when it comes to booking flights.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Booking too far in advance can actually cost travellers. When travelling domestic, booking 63-72 days out can save travellers up to 16 per cent in comparison to the average ticket price. I stuff a pillowcase with clothes or even a jacket, to save space in my luggage and to create the perfect in-flight pillow. It means not only can you pack more clothes, but you can sleep more comfortably onboard. Firstly, the middle seat gets both armrests\u2014it&#8217;s only fair since they\u2019re in the least desirable spot.
