Your new favorite travel podcasts

Perhaps you’re pondering why we’ve decided to put out Out Travel the System, Expedia’s podcast, in the midst of a time of great uncertainty.

The short answer is: you. At Expedia, we know you and others like you are thinking about travel and wondering how it fits into your life. We see the interest in shorter trips closer to home, road trips, and planning ahead for dream trips at some point in the future. We want to help you get there with peace of mind while sticking to your travel budget.

This season, we’re all about making sure you get the information you need to know to be a savvy traveler, from what to research while planning for trips, to how to get the best travel deals. We also believe strongly in the power of travel to inspire and want to keep sharing that.

Like, subscribe, and review Out Travel the System wherever you get your podcasts.

We’ve put together a list of  great podcasts like ours in the travel sphere – happy listening!

Out Travel the System

We harness the power of Expedia’s data to make sure you’re getting the latest and greatest travel information. Along the way, host Nisreene Atassi also does deep dives into specific destinations, and gathers great stories from seasoned travelers.

Travel + Leisure’s Let’s Go Together

We love the way host Kellee Edwards is re-shaping conversations about who travelers are, and where they want to go. We’ve learned there is no obstacle too big if the desire to travel is strong enough. We’re dropping one of our favorite episodes into our feed this season, but go ahead and check it out now if you like.

Conde Nast Traveler’s Women Who Travel

What do women really want out of the travel experience? That’s what hosts and Conde Nast editors Lale Arikoglu and Meredith Carey get into in this podcast, encompassing food, entertainment, and adventure.

Bloomberg’s Travel Genius

You know we love our travel hacks here at Expedia; so do Nikki Ekstein and Mark Ellwood at Travel Genius. Sharing is caring in the travel community!

Ravel Media’s Women on the Road

We know many travelers are making road tripping part of their future travel plans (watch for our own episode on road trips!) While you’re waiting, listen along as host Laura Borichevsky speaks with other women to cover all topics of traveling on the road.

TED’s Pin Drop

Host Saleem Reshamwala takes you into the experiences, stories, and people that give places their unique identities. It’s an audio experiment on the idea of ‘place-making’ that you won’t want to miss.

The Dirtbag Diaries

Wander and wonder while getting some dirt under your fingernails – that’s the premise of this podcast. It’s not only adventures in the great outdoors though; it’s about what you can learn about yourself and your relationships at the same time.

Open Seat Podcast

Ever wished you could listen to two airline industry employees dish about what they really experience on the job, as well as what they know about travel? Well, this is your chance. Join hosts Keith and Tommy – yes, only one name only each, they’re iconic – for their irreverent takes on airline and travel life.

Fork in the Road

A fork in the road is often positioned as a choice between two options, but it can also signify a convergence of paths. Join host Krista Simmons as she examines the intersections of food, travel, and hospitality, cocktail in hand.
