The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Threads and Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Threads” and “Meta”). You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor (defined below) and not to Threads. The information you provide will only be used for the administration of this Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy (see below). Threads is hereby completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Sweepstakes. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Threads.
In these Official Rules, the term “you” refers to any person who enters, or who wishes to enter, the Sweepstakes.
1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada (including Quebec) and Mexico, who are at least eighteen (18) years old, are a One Key program member, have a Threads account, and who otherwise meet the requirements set out in these Official Rules. If you are not a One Key program member, you will need to create an account prior to a prize being awarded. To create a free account, US residents visit Create an account (expedia.com); Canadian residents visit Expedia Account Login; and Mexican residents visit Expedia Account Login. If you do not have a Threads account, visit https://www.threads.com/login and register in accordance with the enrollment instructions for a free Threads account. Thread’s Terms of Service accessible at: https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram and Privacy Policy accessible at: https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/privacy. Employees of Expedia, Inc., as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of those employees, are not eligible to enter.
2. Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Expedia, Inc., 1111 Expedia Group Way W., WA 98119 (“Sponsor”).
3. Agreement to Official Rules: By entering, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to (a) these Official Rules and (b) Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
4. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 3:30 PM Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends at 11:59 PM PT on February 08, 2026. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
5. How to Enter: If you don’t already follow @Expedia on Threads, visit http://threads.com/Expedia and click on the icon to follow @Expedia. Once you are following @Expedia:
- Quote Repost a post from Expedia on @Expedia asking for you to give Ken a travel tip or tell him your suggestion as to where he should travel to next; and
- Include the hashtags #ExpediaAndKenGoPlaces and #Sweepstakes.
There is a limit of twenty (20) entries per person regardless of Entry Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Threads account. If you attempt to obtain more than twenty (20) entries by using multiple/different Threads accounts, identities, registrations, or logins, or through any other methods, Sponsor may exclude you from participating in the Sweepstakes.
6. Drawing: After the Sweepstakes Period, on or about February 11, 2026, Sponsor will select sixty-five (65) potential winners in a random drawing of all entries received. Only one (1) prize per person to be awarded. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received for the Sweepstakes Period.
7. Notification and Requirements of Potential Winners: The potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. After the random drawing, Sponsor will notify the potential winners via direct message asking such potential winner to provide their full name, telephone number (including area code), mail and/or e-mail address. In order to receive a direct message from Sponsor, you must (a) be following @Expedia and (b) have your account settings set to “unprotected” and/or “public.” Potential winners will have forty-eight (48) hours to respond to the direct message. Sponsor will reply to potential winner at the email address provided with instructions on how to claim a prize.
If a potential Prize winner is an eligible Canadian resident, he or she will be required to: (a) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone, or in the Sponsor’s form of declaration and release); and (b) execute and return to Sponsor a declaration of eligibility, a liability release (which releases Sponsor, its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability in connection with this Sweepstakes and/or the awarding and use/misuse of a Prize or any portion thereof) and a publicity release within five (5) days of date of issuance.
Section (b) above applies to all winners, not only Canadian residents. If a potential Prize winner: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) fails to respond to the direct message or to return the properly executed Sweepstakes documents within the specified time; (c) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) a Prize (as awarded) for any reason; and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of these Official Rules (all as determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion); then he/she may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to a Prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible Entries submitted and received during the applicable Entry Period (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected potential Prize winner) on February 17, 2026. Such newly selected potential winner will be notified by direct mail (as described above) within three (3) business days of the drawing, using the contact details provided by that person when entering the Sweepstakes. Only one (1) alternate entrant will be contacted for a prize. Except where prohibited, potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.
8. Prizes: Sixty-five (65) winners will each receive a one-time award of $1,000 USD OneKeyCash (converted to local currency is a non-US winner is selected) deposited into winner’s Account (“Prize”). A Prize has an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $1,000 USD. Total ARV of all prizes is $65,000 USD.
OneKeyCash will be deposited within ninety (90) days after winner acceptance of a Prize and will expire 18 months from the date of the deposit. OneKeyCash is subject to the terms and conditions of the One Key program (US – One Key Terms and Conditions; CA – Rewards Terms and Conditions | Expedia; MX – Rewards Terms and Conditions | Expedia), is not redeemable for cash and can only be used on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. OneKeyCash can be used on ‘Pay Now’ bookings only and participating vacation rentals where the booking is completed in US dollars. OneKeyCash may only be used on select flights – details of whether the flight is available for OneKeyCash redemption will be made available on the checkout page. If the flight is eligible, you will need enough OneKeyCash to cover the entire cost of your flight, including taxes and fees, and may not add any optional extras like checked bags or seat assignments. You can purchase those extras after booking your ticket. OneKeyCash is not transferable to other members, but you can redeem OneKeyCash on eligible bookings in someone else’s name.

The value of a booking is not refundable. Bookings are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Actual value of a Prize may vary based on destination, rates at time of booking and travel dates. Any difference between stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded. Winner is responsible for obtaining any required necessary documentation (i.e., valid passport, visas, etc.) prior to travel.
A Winner is responsible for paying any applicable federal, state, local, income and withholding taxes, if any, and any and all other costs and expenses not listed herein as being provided, including but not limited to travel documents (i.e., passport and/or visa applications, if required), travel insurance, stand-alone flights greater than the OneKeyCash available, cruises, ground transportation not able to be purchased Expedia, luggage fees, meals, beverages, hotel incidentals, souvenirs and gratuities. In the event that any tax withholding is required by law for a prize, winner authorizes Sponsor to make the corresponding deduction. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellations or delays. Sponsor will not be liable for any airline and/or hotel fees incurred as a consequence of changing or cancelling flight and/or hotel reservations. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes or prize components. A winner may not transfer, assign or substitute a prize, or redeem a prize for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Prize is awarded “as is” without any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. The prize is subject to and a winner must abide by the prize providers’ terms and conditions of booking.
9. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the operation of the Sweepstakes, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any person who seeks to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor by mail shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the owner of an entry, the authorized account holder of the Threads account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
10. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone, or network lines; (c) any errors on the Meta platform that may prevent an entrant from entering or receiving direct messages; (d) printing errors; (e) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (f) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (g) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize. You further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
11. Collection and Use of Your Personal Information: Sponsor may collect and process your personal information directly or through our agents or contractors. We will use your personal information as necessary in order to conduct and manage the Sweepstakes, and, where we have a lawful basis to do so, to send marketing communications to you. We may disclose your personal information to our related companies, agents, and contractors to assist in conducting and managing this offer, communicating with you, or storing data.

12. Disputes: Except where prohibited by law, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with the conduct of the Sweepstakes or the awarding of the prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in British Columbia, Canada. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of British Columbia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than British Columbia.
For residents of Québec, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of this publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
13. Results: To request a winners list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Expedia’s Go Places with Ken and Expedia Sweepstakes,” Expedia, Inc., 1111 Expedia Group Way W., Seattle, WA 98119. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
