The updates enable a more complete, one-stop travel resource, featuring access to an enormous selection of flights, hotels and now rental cars, as well as a number of local activity options in top U.S. destinations.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Recent Expedia app updates include: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Rental Cars<\/strong>: With Expedia mobile app customers increasingly citing rental car bookings as a \u201cwish list\u201d feature, the company added the ability to book rental cars.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Local Activities<\/strong>: Expedia added local activities in top U.S. destinations to help travelers book excursions, get tickets to shows, and undertake other activities across a range of ages and interests. This feature, and rental car availability, are currently available in the U.S., and will be rolling out to the Expedia app in the UK, Canada and other markets in the coming months.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Book Now, Pay Later<\/strong>: The Expedia mobile app now offers more choice in hotel purchases with \u201cBook Now, Pay Later,\u201d which enables customers to reserve a room (for select hotels) without worrying about payment until check-in. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Vacation Package Savings<\/strong>: Travelers can save up to 55 percent on hotels by booking a qualifying flight first with the Expedia app and then booking their hotel stay within the next 10 days.
