Well look no further, as here we’ll share our personal recipes for delicious drinks made with liquors we have collected from around the world. Each of these cocktails packs a punch and does its best to show you the unique flavors of different faraway locales. Just a couple of sips and you’ll be on a flight to Iceland or siting in luxury resort on the Spanish coast.<\/p>\n

Brazilian\u00a0Fire<\/strong><\/p>\n

This cocktail is a modern adaptation on the traditional Caipirinha, a staple of Brazil.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cut a pepper in half (we prefer habanero but jalapeno works, too) and place it in a bottle of\u00a0Cacha\u00e7a for a week.<\/p>\n

Once properly spicy, shake in a tumbler with ice:<\/p>\n

-2 oz. Cacha\u00e7a<\/p>\n

-1 oz. Fresh squeezed lemon juice<\/p>\n

-1 oz. Fresh squeezed lime juice<\/p>\n

-1 oz. Grand Marnier<\/p>\n

-Shake and serve in a glass with a sugar rim.<\/p>\n

Costa Brava Sangria<\/strong><\/p>\n

This unique take on the classic sangira is a popular choice in\u00a0Costa Brava, the region from where the sparkling wine known as Cava comes.<\/em><\/p>\n

– Pour a bottle of Cava into a pitcher of ice<\/p>\n

– Add mixed fruits of your choice<\/p>\n

– Soak for an hour<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Odin\u2019s Revenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

This cocktail is the hardy brew needed to last through an\u00a0Icelandic\u00a0winter. Brennivin is a potent liquor known as “black death” and it has all the flavors of Icelandic herbs and ice.<\/em><\/p>\n

-2 oz. Icelandic Brenniv\u00edn<\/p>\n

-Fill with a Porter (vanilla works best)<\/p>\n

-Add a dash of bitters<\/p>\n

-Drizzle with maple syurup<\/p>\n

-Serve ice cold<\/p>\n

Sri Lankan River Boat<\/strong><\/p>\n

We discovered this drink quite by accident with a German college of ours while we were visiting Sri Lanka. Ceylon is a super-distilled liquor made from the sap of coconut blossoms. The cloudier the ginger beer, the better this cocktail tastes.<\/em><\/p>\n

– 2 oz. Sri Lankan Ceylon<\/p>\n

– Fill with Ginger beer<\/p>\n

– Add a spritz of gin<\/p>\n

– Add a squeeze of lime<\/p>\n

– Serve over ice<\/p>\n
