Here are some of our favorite ways to see the world while ensuring the same right for future generations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Begin before you leave<\/strong><br \/>\nReady your home for a guilt-free vacation of its own by making sure it\u2019s not bleeding unneeded energy while you\u2019re away.<\/p>\n<p>Tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>Turn off and unplug<\/u>. Your house won\u2019t know the difference if the AC isn\u2019t blasting to save it from the scorching summer. Lamps and electronics use energy while asleep, so make sure everything is off and detached from outlets.
