With spring break officially over it\u2019s now time to start thinking about summer vacations. My mind immediately jumps to palm trees, 80-degree weather, refreshing drinks, delicious food and good music. I have so many things I want to do this summer, and travel is at the top of my list. I\u2019m talking a weekend getaway in Denver, relaxing on the beach in Mexico, and even jetting off to London.<\/p>\n

As an experienced traveler, I know I need to start planning and budgeting if I\u2019m going to really live it up this summer and not vicariously through Instagram. To make life easier, Expedia put together four saving tips that will help make the most of your summer travel this year.<\/p>\n

1. Book early<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summer is one of the busiest travel periods, both domestic and international, and prices tend to go up as we get closer to that peak time. Doing your research and getting a head start on booking can make a huge difference in terms of savings for your perfect trip. According to the ARC 2018 Air Travel Outlook Report<\/a>, booking flights more than 30 days ahead often results in cheaper airfare.<\/p>\n

2. Bundle and save<\/strong><\/p>\n
