awesome hotel, except parking is tough

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The property was beautiful and a really lovely stay.

The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so are the staff. My room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the s'mores and the game room. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. I will defenately go back, and highly recommend.

This was the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in. From the phone call prior to checking in, to the check in, to the stay, and even the checkout. I couldn't be any happier with the service provided! Staying here is more like staying with family that you actually like. I cannot wait for my next stay!

What was unique about the property was the friendly staff. Always available and privately owned. They could not have been any more gracious and welcoming. What we didn't like was that the walls between the rooms were very thin. You could hear everything from the room next door.

We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned.

The owners and staff were delightful to interact and chat with-- The room was clean and comfortable, views were fabulous and keyless entry was convenient. Close to town and shops and restaurants.. Highly recommend!

This place was simply amazing! So my family takes at least two camping trips a year to the ADKs, this year we were concerned about some pretty bad weather coming in so decided to end the trip in a hotel. I saw this place on hotels.com and thought it would be fun for the kids to sleep in a cabin with a little loft. Well they loved it! Now to the property… The cabin was extremely clean, not even a touch of dust anywhere. The bed was clean and comfortable and the cabin came with a fridge, coffee...

Just beyond fun and a work out going up that hill!

A unique place. rebuilt older mansion very nicely done. loved the experience and the caretaker was quite a nice guy. I was travelling on my own and it was so nice to stay in a place that is not just a cookie cutter chain hotel.

Excellent location, family ownd and they really care about the property. We have stayed here twice and both times were great. Nice suite and more importantly, very clean.
