Weekend getaways in Lucca

Our stay in Lucca at the Residenza FillAnfi exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host, Valentina who provided a great overview of the city and personally escorted us to our rooms. The property is outstanding! Well located just inside the wall. Near the city center but far enough away from it to avoid the bedlam. The best part is the proprietor, Debora. She is engaging, exceptionally knowledgeable of all things Lucca, and makes you feel like the most important guest!

What a wonderful stay. Our host Olivia was amazing. She got whatever we needed. The hotel is very clean, modern, pool, right outside walls, security gate with vehicle parking included. Breakfast was wonderful, they even helped us get food for the next morning. Also leaving us a treat for anniversary celebration. Bravo!

Villa del Papa is a gorgeous property perfectly located between Lucca and Pisa. The small village is charming and there are conveniences within easy walking distance. We had perfect weather for the pool... even in May!! You will enjoy your time at Villa del Papa!

We loved our stay here. The suite was very clean and comfortable and it was in a great location very close to Lucca's wall. We loved the breakfast as well. We are vegan and when we asked about options our host was so accommodating and helpful.

Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, huge shower, and enormous soaking tub. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. Just had 24 hours to spend in Lucca. It was a great stay, the staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Franco, who took us to our room doubles as the hotel bartender at night. We enjoyed his company while we had a pre and post dinner aperitif. The hotel was perfectly located, easy access off the A11, shopping starts as you make a right out of the front door. This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!

The hotel is charming, intimate, and very well staffed. From a lovely, abundant breakfast spread with friendly and efficient staff to a roster of well-informed, helpful and friendly front desk/check-in staff, you are pleasantly surprised at every turn.
