There was plenty of time to see meter, including an incredible sunset. The tour buses and guides were knowledgeable, and the 3 star hotel close and very good.

The experience would have been much improved if we had been given a printed schedule on arrival. Day one was much too long, without a decent break for taking a meal. Returning to Kalambaka in order to visit a church and 'to pick up provisions' was ridiculous. The mini-mart was useless and stocked no fruit. Not everyone wants a main meal after 9 pm. Customers need to be warned to have a big lunch in readiness for a long day. Day two was better, but it was too similar to day one, which we would have enjoyed more, if it had started with a short hike and lasted no more than two hours.
