Description

Set out into the Red Centre on this 4-day camping tour to some of the most incredible sights of central Australia. Visit the immense sandstone monolith of Uluru, hike under the domed peaks of Kata Tjuta, and explore the fabulous Kings Canyon, in between camping under the Outback sky.

Day 1 Your first destination on the tour is Uluru, the gigantic red sandstone rock that stands as a sacred site for the Anangu people and an Australian icon worldwide. Take a base walk around Uluru and see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole, and Aboriginal cave paintings before you have dinner, watch the iconic sunset, and then head to the Ayers Rock Campground for the night.

Day 2 Start out the day with a guided walk to the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Next, head to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn the stories of the Tjukurpa Dreamtime before you move on to the historic Kings Creek Station for your overnight stay.

Day 3 Once you arrive at Kings Canyon, a guided hike takes you to see the sandstone domes of the Lost City, the Amphitheatres, and the beautiful Garden of Eden. Head to Alice Springs in the afternoon for your last night of the expedition.

Day 4 Set off early in the morning for the journey back to Uluru. When you arrive late in the morning, part ways with your guide as the adventure comes to an end.
