Catch sight of spirits and tantalize yourself with tales of witchcraft during a walking tour of New Orleans. Travel to several of the city's venerated neighborhoods, soaking up stories about the witches, ghosts, vampires, and Voodoo practitioners who have contributed to the city's colorful past.

Join your expert guide in the French Quarter—New Orleans' oldest neighborhood. Here, pick up fascinating information about Voodoo, a heralded brand of spiritualism during the 18th and 19th centuries. Wander past the Marie Laveau House of Voodoo, and allow your guide to teach you about the "Queen of Voodoo" as well as her spectacular influence on colonial socialites.

Feel a shiver run down your spine while you creep past the LaLaurie Mansion, where Delphine LaLaurie—a baleful member of the New Orleans bourgeois and an alleged serial killer—lived. Here, learn about the first witch to practice the dark arts in New Orleans, and make connections between her malevolent maneuverings and LaLaurie.

Finally, see the wind pick up in an abandoned alleyway as you head toward a secret site where supernatural events are said to have occurred. Allow your guide to regale you with titillating stories of vampires who once roamed the city streets while you keep your eyes peeled for apparitions at every turn.

This company is awesome. I bought tickets for what I thought was June 9. In my haste, I bought them for the 8th. Once I realized it (late at night), I called and left a message about what I had done. They called me the next morning and reschedule us for the 9th. I so appreciated that as I had purchased 10 tickets. Our tour guide on this occasion was Ryan "THE GREAT"). He was mesmerizing from start to finish. Not only did he make us feel welcome and important within the first few seconds of our tour, but he wooed us the entire tour with his amazing stories and the history of Ghosts, Voodoo, Vampires and New Orleans. Other tour groups seemed sad and downtrodden as we passed by. I honestly kept thinking, "I'm feel so bad for them that they don't have Ryan as their tour guide". Then I would quickly forget them because Ryan was at it again, telling some amazing tale of adventure. Five plus stars for the tour and Ryan. Your friends from Nashville! : -)
