Description

Day 1: Arrive at the Baltra airport and get transferred by bus to the tip of the Itabaca Channel. A ferry service takes you to Santa Cruz Island, and then to Puerto Ayora and your hotel.

On the way, visit the island's lava tunnels and a tortoise reserve. Check out the Charles Darwin Research Station, a great place to learn about the islands' geological history, the unique species that live here, the theory of evolution—Charles Darwin was famously inspired by the adaptive traits displayed by Galápagos creatures—and local wildlife conservation programs. Observe tortoises in captivity, getting a keen sense for their intelligence and grace.

(Transfer operates daily at 13h00)

_It will be possible to operate transfers without visits and without guide at the following times: 10h00 and 15h00 (previous request)_

Day 2: Eat breakfast at the hotel—which is included every morning—and set off on a walk to Tortuga Bay Beach, considered one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the Galápagos. Enjoy the white sand, gorgeous water, and green mangroves. Walk down to “Playa Mansa,” where you're free to get lunch, swim, and enjoy the beach during free time.

In the afternoon, tour the bay on a yacht, starting with a visit to “La Lobería,” named for the prevalence of sea lions relaxing on the shore. Swim or snorkel in the waters before proceeding to the “Canal del Amor,” a beautiful and rocky channel dotted by green vegetation. The shallow depth of the water provides intimate views into the aquatic ecosystem, including reef sharks. Take a short walk to “Playa de los Perros,” a beach known for its marine iguanas. Check out nearby Punta Estrada before returning to Puerto Ayora.

Day 3: Depart early and sail out on a yacht for a morning of scuba diving. Listen to a safety and equipment briefing before diving into equatorial waters brimming with aquatic life. Get a first-hand view into the colorful, tropical world beneath the surface.

Day 4: Spend a second day scuba diving, heading to new spots to get a fuller sense of the tremendous aquatic diversity present in the Galápagos waters.

Day 5: Spend your last full day in the Galápagos however you please. Hang out at Tortuga Bay Beach, spend time in Puerto Ayora, or make your own plans to scout out any last sights.

Day 6: Transfer to the airport. (O_perates daily at 07h00, 09h00 y 12h00).Includes only transport_
