Our friendly Japanese guide will teach you all about Japanese culture and food while you bar hop the streets of Asakusa. At night, the busy streets in Asakusa transforms into a bar hopping food & drink adventure, giving you a totally different type of atmosphere compare to the daylight one.

Asakusa is known more for its face of the day as the most famous sightseeing spot in Tokyo, but the face of its nightlife actually has a lot of attractions. Immerse in the beautiful historic night views of Asakusa while enjoying food and drinks on this night tour!

After meeting the guide, the guide will take some dream-like photos at Senso-ji temple for you. Once you have some good shots, we’ll head over to the first Izakaya and enjoy a great Japanese dish on this food tour!

The first Izakaya is specialized in Monjayaki (a local and famous stree food in Asakusa) and Okonomiyaki (Osaka style), which are local Japanese foods. Usually, It’s made of flour and some vegetables, and you can add many different kinds of ingredients to it. If you are a vegetarian, that is fine as well as you can mix and match the ingredients that you like in this food tour. At the izakaya, there is a hot steel plate in front of you and the guide can teach you how to cook Monjayaki or Okonomiyaki. Don’t worry, it's not as difficult as you have imagined!

At second Izakaya, we will visit a Japanese good-old style Izakaya in Hoppy street. A “hoppy” is a drink made and first sold on 1948 in Japan, and was a drink that became popular due to its beer-like taste and cheap price when beer was expensive after the war. Definitely with this tour you will feel the local drinking atmosphere in Japan and tasty delicious food, as a local would do!

At last, we will take you to a very cool Ninja Bar! Here we will be able to taste delicious sake surrounded by friendly “ninja”!

  • You might need to order at least 1 food at the bar because it's the rule for some bars

  • Out of respect for our other guests and to ensure the best tour for everyone, we must start the tour on time. Please note that you may need to join the tour from the second/third bar if you are being too late for the tour.
