Description

Turin has a lot to offer to visitors who decide to stay here for a few days. If you are tight on time, then you should really take advantage of this day tour, with a real local guide!

Starting in piazza Castello, you can admire the wonderful façade of Palazzo Madama, the first house of Italian Parliament, from 1861 to 1864, when Turin was the capital. In the middle of the square stands the Royal Palace, which you will enter on this tour.

Do not be fooled by the sober façade, inside you will find hidden gems, like the Scala delle Forbici and the Royal Armoury, an exhibition of weapons and armours located in the Galleria Beaumont, which reminds you of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Refined carvings, stuccos, gildings and frescoes adorn the Ballroom and the Throne Room and are guaranteed to impress.

At the end of your visit to the Royal Palace, you will see the Duomo, a real treasure, halfway between the Reinassance and the Baroque in design. In fact you can see the elegant Reinassance façade outside and the astonishing Capella Guarini, with its dome, inside.

We’ll explore the small alleys that make up the Roman Quadrilateral neighborhood, a district full of shops and finely restored old buildings, but also plenty of characteristic dehors - small bistros with an outdoor space where you can have a quick meal.

Arriving into Piazza San Carlo, you can feel the aura of great people. Here, in the old cafés surrounding the square, intellectuals and men of culture, but also nobility and royalty, used to meet to discuss, in particular, political matters.

Finally, you will reach the last part of your tour, with an entertaining visit to the National Museum of Cinema, in the Mole Antonelliana. Here you will take the elevator to reach the top and enjoy a spectacular view of Turin!
It will certainly make your experience a memorable one!
