Description

Join this small-group day tour for an adventure into the heart of the enchanting Blue Mountains. Stroll through Featherdale Wildlife Park, admire breathtaking views over Jamison Valley, and take a stunning river cruise along the Parramatta River.

Start your journey with a hotel pickup and travel to the award-winning Featherdale Wildlife Park. Here, hand feed kangaroos, have your photo taken with a koala, and encounter other native Australian animals.

Next head to the UNESCO World-Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, and see native plants and animals on an easy guided bush-walk to Wentworth Falls. Learn about the aboriginal story of the Three Sisters at the Echo Point lookout and take in the fresh mountain air as you gaze over the magnificent Jamison Valley. Afterwards, ride the steepest railway in the world 1,361 feet (415 meters) down to the valley floor at Scenic World (own expense), and take a stroll through the temperate rainforest.

Leave the Blue Mountains behind and return to Sydney on a scenic cruise from Homebush Bay down the Parramatta River and into Sydney Harbour. Take in the unique views as you go under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and see the Sydney Opera House close up before your arrive at Circular Quay, where your tour finishes.

Steve, the guide is very knowledgeable, friendly and has a sense of humor. Kept everyone on time; even adviced a motor cyclist to stay on the left lane except when passing. Had a wonderful time. Tour highly recommended.

Small group tour. Our driver plus guide -Mark, is very nice and knowledgeable about the route. His arrangement for the activities were smart and sensible, so we didn’t experience any long queues. He is also good at connecting people within the group. We thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

We had a wonderful day! Mark was our tour guide and he did a fabulous job telling us history and stories of the land. The sites were absolutely beautiful. The wildlife reserve was a really fun experience getting to be up close with Australian animals. You had the option to hike or ride to the bottom of the blue mountains and back up and the time at Olympic park was a bonus that we didn’t know we were going to get to see. The cruise back to Circular Quay was just perfect. The only thing that I would of wanted more of was time. More time at all locations would of been awesome but I know there is only so much time in a day. Also, the air on the bus wasn’t working 100% and thankfully it was spring because in the summer the long ride to the mountains would of been challenging. Tour was well worth the money.
