Description

Set off on a full-day adventure to southern Argentina for a scenic catamaran cruise with up-close views of local sea lions and penguins. As you island-hop along the Beagle Channel, marvel at the stunning nature and wildlife and learn about Patagonia's unique history.

Board a comfortable catamaran and sail the pristine waters of the Beagle Channel. Pass through the islands of the Alicia Archipelago and keep on the lookout for local wildlife like the black-browed albatross, cormorants, or steamer ducks.

Stop at the iconic 74-foot-tall (23-m) Faro Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, known as “the lighthouse at the end of the world” and a gatekeeper for sailors heading into the unknown of Antarctica. Cruise alongside Bird and Seal Island for up-close views of local birds and two playful species of barking sea lions.

Next, head out towards Martillo Island, home of adorable Magellanic penguins and orange-beaked gentoo penguins. Disembark and watch the penguins waddle, dive, and play on the island's rocky shores.

Before returning to Ushuaia, visit Estancia Harberton, a 19th-century ranch, to learn about Patagonia's rich history and explore the beautiful scenery.

Better off going to the tourist port and just booking this, the time was wrong, the booking was wrong, way overpriced and you literally sit on a boat for 6 hours.

When you get to Ushuaia check with the different kiosks at the port to see which boat you are on . You then need to pay a 20 peso tax to get through to the docks. The trip was excellent, saw 2 whales, sealions, penguins and lots more wildlifr

Not only was it amazing to see the penguins and seals from an extremely close vantage point, the crew was very accommodating to us. The catamaran had some minor engine problems which delayed our final arrival back to Ushuaia. As we Gad another excursion planned for that afternoon which we were unable to catch, the crew used their person cell phone to call our next excursion to inform them we would be late. The next business handled the small delay and everything went off without a problem. I’d recommend this excursion.
