Description

Gain a unique insight into traditional South Korean history, culture, and food through this incredible tour of Seoul attractions. Visit the historical Changdeokgung Palace, enjoy a fun small-group cooking class, and relax on a walk through Namsangol Hanok Village.

Leave from your Seoul city center hotel and drive toward your first stunning Seoul highlight. Cheonggyecheon Stream, also known as the “Rhythmic Wall Stream,” is a natural spectacle made extraordinary by many intricate marble facades and sculptures. Stop and admire the Narae and Gwanggyo bridges, which are among the 20 bridges that cross over the river. Continue to Changdeokgung Palace—a beautifully preserved Joseon palace—making sure to snap some photographs of the luxurious principle palace of many of the Joseon kings.

Next, learn how to cook Bulgogi, a Korean specialty, in a hands-on lesson. An experienced chef demonstrates how the delicacy is made before you have the opportunity to try for yourself—and taste the sumptuous results of your hard work. Travel with your guide to your final destination, Namsan Hanok Village. This traditional Korean village is set between the giant buildings of the city, but stands out because of its 5 restored traditional houses, a pavilion, pond, and even a time capsule.

Note: Changdeokgung Palace is closed on every Mon.
