Description

Explore the charming and historic city of Hobart as you visit some of its popular attractions, including Sullivan's Cove and Salamanca Place. Experience Australian native wildlife up-close and visit the historic village of Richmond on this full-day coach tour.

Hop onboard a coach and travel to the initial landing site and the birthplace of the city, the Sullivan's Cove. Along the way, pass through the Parliament House and be amazed by Georgian-style architecture, present in warehouses, boutiques, and pubs near Salamanca Place and Battery Point. Later, travel to the Cascade Valley and visit Australia's oldest brewery. Your coach also explores places like St. David's Park, Female Factory, and Queen's Domain and Government House.

Afterwards, cross the Tasman Bridge and stop at Rosny Hill Lookout for spectacular views of Hobart and Mt. Wellington. As you make your way to the original sandstone railway stations at the ABC buildings, gaze in wonderment at the Derwent River from the Victoria and Constitution Docks.

Travel to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and encounter native animals, including kangaroos, wombats, and koalas. Learn about these animals on a guided tour and get warm and friendly with the Tasmanian devil. Before your return trip to the city, stop by at Richmond, a village in a valley that was built in the 1820s as a military staging post. Take a step back in time and marvel at the gorgeous Georgian-styled bridge, mansions, jail, and small cottages.
