Combo Saver: Amsterdam City Tour and Countryside & Windmills

by Lindbergh Tour and Travel Duration 9h Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $89

Amsterdam has so much more to offer besides the canals. On this live guided tour we will show you countless interesting sights and amazing views on the outside of the city centre. You will be able to admire the idyllic suburban scenery and the architecture of beautiful mansions. We will have a photo stop at a remarkable windmill and you will have the opportunity to visit a diamond factory in the Museum District.

Afterwards, leave the city behind and head north to Zaanse Schans, home to centuries-old windmills. Refreshed by the country air, arrive at Volendam. Many members of this Dutch fishing community still wear traditional, colorful outfits. From there, see the characteristic houses of Marken, by boat in the summer and by coach in the winter.

Continue to a farm to see how a variety of cheese is produced and taste it for yourself. Finally, witness a clog maker working on this wooden Dutch shoe. Learn about the different styles, when they're worn, and try a pair on yourself.

Came all the way from California and this trip was well worth it. Our tour guide was amazing and so was Ricky and our bus driver. I recommend it

The Pink Panther crew (Steve, Dick & Samantha) we're great. Steve was very entertaining and helpful, and Dick & Samantha knew a lot about the area. Only negative is that there was way more walking and stairs than I anticipated. We were already tired from our flight from USA the day before, so this was'nt the best choice for us so soon after so much travel the day prior. The tour was geat though due mostly to the crew. Thank you.

On booking the trip we had expected to be visiting the windmills in the morning instead we did the city tour first.. we were told to be at the meeting point for 8.15 but didn't leave until 9am as we had travelled out of town it was a very early start unnecessarily.. the city tour we had pretty much seen for ourselves the day before. when the trip had finished were hanging around in the city for a couple of hours until meeting again for the windmill tour.. it was disorganised everyone had different times.. the afternoon trip was chaotic and rushed feeling like there wasn't enough time to even go to the toilet.. I felt it was a big rush to get to the last destination in time the cheese making factory.. we then were taken to the restaurant but if you were not eating at the restaurant it was another long wait and as we had arrived so late everywhere shut up even the cheese making shop as soon as we left.. if the afternoon tour had been spread out throughout the day instead of rushed in an afternoon I would of recommended this tour but the way it was it was exhausting rushed and I felt I didn't see everything
