Description

Ride over rolling hills and down the winding roads of estates as you explore Sonoma's wineries by bike with an experienced guide leading the way. Learn about the history of Sonoma's wine industry, find out what makes the area's climate so perfect for grapes, and get a chance to try a few varietals with tasting room visits.

Join your guide at the tour office, where you get fitted for a bike and helmet before taking off into the vineyard-draped hills of Sonoma. Follow your guide down quiet country roads that lead to your first estate. Along the way, chat about the development of Sonoma as one of the world's best wine-growing regions and learn what grapes grow best in its fertile hills.

Visit 2 to 3 wineries as well as enjoying a picnic-style lunch with sweeping valley views, and then duck into Vella Cheese for a private tour and tasting of their tasty creations(except Sundays). Learn how to pair delicate cheeses with the perfect wine, and then point your handlebars back to Sonoma's historic center.
