Amazing! 4.3/5 Expedia Guest Rating

Stroll along quaint streets of the French Quarter to Jackson Square on the Mighty Mississippi. Explore the French Market while your guide shares stories about New Orleans' oldest neighborhood.

Named after saints and sinners of the city's European past, the streets tell the history of Creole people who walked them long ago. Follow in the footsteps of Jean Lafitte and Tennessee Williams while you hear tales of the area's rich culture.

Two-thirds of the neighborhood dates back to the first half of the 19th century, and its French influence is clear. As your guide's anecdotes bring the area to life, marvel at intricate ironwork galleries, red-brick buildings, and Greek, Art Deco, and Gothic architecture.

Wander through The Cabildo, built in 1799, and the site of the Louisiana Purchase, to see French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte's death mask, the museum's most legendary artifact. If your tour falls on a Monday, explore the Beauregard-Keyes House, a historic Victorian house-turned-museum that focuses on its past residents, including Confederate General Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard.
