At the morning driver and guide will pick-up you from your stay location. From there you'll start your journey in east part of Georgia at Kakheti Wine country, this region is main wine producer of the country. You will travel by comfortable car with air-condition. Driving two hours through the Gombori pass (the highest point of the road 1620 MSL) you will reach to the Alazani valley, You will discover the beautiful Alazani Valley and admire sweeping vistas of the picturesque countryside whilst enjoying fine Georgian wines. Explore old cellars and learn wine making secrets of the Kakheti wine country. There you will visit the wine factories, wine museums and one of the oldest wine cellar, which belongs to local family. You will have experience with tasting Georgian red and white wines which are produced according Georgian clay vessel “Qvevri” technology and as well European style. Your guide will set up a tasty picnic lunch for you at a picturesque winery. Once the tour concludes, you will be dropped off from where you were picked up. Total kilometers of the tour is circa 300 km.
