Description

Travel Aruba by air-conditioned motor coach. A professional guide shares the tales behind natural and historical landmarks. Along the way, visit the California Lighthouse, Casibari Rock Formations, Alto Vista Chapel, the Natural Bridge, and the Butterfly Farm.

Start your tour with a stop at the famous California Lighthouse, offering panoramic views of the island. Next, head to the Casibari Rock Formations. These large boulder formations, unique to the region, curiously rise up from desert soil and create an unusual setting. After you venture to the Alto Vista Chapel, a church built in 1750 by Spanish missionaries, walk the labyrinthine trail of contemplation surrounded by the countryside.

Following your visit to the chapel, head to the Natural Bridge, a popular attraction in Aruba. This coral limestone formation of the bridge was one of the largest in the world before collapsing in 2005. End your journey with a stop at the Butterfly Farm and see a collection of butterflies from around the world, including South America, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, Australia, China, and Africa.

Overall the tour and guide were fine. We were very disappointed with the Natural bridge- which is really a natural cesspool. There is a lack of restrooms at the stops. This location offered a spot but you have to pay$1 to use it. There is raw sewage in the lagoon which not only looks awful but stinks.

Kim Roy was funny and had great insight on all the places that we went!!! It was great to see all the places, especially the light house. If you can go up, it is 125 steps so be ware.

The bus was comfortable, the guide was nice and entertaining, but quite frankly, not much to see. The lighthouse is super windy and only accessible to the restaurant which owns it. The natural bridge collapsed and no longer exists. Nice views from this point, but it took a while to get there. We have 2 young children and the butterfly house was the only part of the tour worth taking the children -and its a cab ride away, but worth it. They have a full day version of this tour that includes a beach. But if youre at a resort ON the beach, why take a bus to see another beach? Oh, they slow drive by a cemetary and rock formation. But after the fact i can see no good reason to take this tour.
