We are a group of three people travelling from Foz do Iguacu to the Argentina side of the falls with the boat ride. The falls and the boat ride on the Argentina side was amazing. However, the transportation for going back to Foz do iguacu at the end of the tour was terribly arranged. The driver showed up on time, but he only picked up the other traveller who was also in the tour with the three of us. The driver did not speak much english, so we had a hard time understanding whether we should arrange transportation on our own for going back to Brazil. The driver then left with the other traveller and the three of us were left behind in the park on the Argnetina side. We then called Grayline for figuring out our transportation back to Brazil. The Grayline agent was helpful, but we wasted another an hour and half for our ride.

Pick up from the hotel was on time. Did the truck Ride in the jungle first (about 9 am). Saw toucans which you usually see only when it’s cooler. Guide was very informative and spoke good English. Walking to the boat we saw crocodiles in the water! They give you a large heavy duty bag to keep your things dry - including shoes. Boat ride was exhilarating. Loads of time for photos. Got extremely wet! Twice! Like someone throwing a barrel of water over you! But you soon dry off. Afterwards did the train ride. Loads of butterflies. Walk to the falls was longer than I thought. Great view at the end. Returned for lunch - go to the huge grill for as much steak as you can eat. Some souvenir shops. We found they took dollars as well as credit cards. We needed 500 pesos to get into the park - cheaper to get in Iguaçu than in Rio or São Paulo. There is a bank with atm at the border. Needed an additional 30 pesos per person to leave. Understand prices continually rising. A brilliant day!!!

We had booked this activity via Expedia and were told that there would be a guide to pick us up from the hotel. We had to call the agency in Iguazu several times and did not get any answer. Finally I was able to talk to an English speaking person on Brazil side. They said on Sunday we had to go to another hotel and will be picked up by the tour bus at 8:20am. We went to Catalatas hotel paid the taxi, waited for the bus. No Bus Came to pick us up. I asked the Catalatas hotel front desk if she could call the number that had been given to us by Expedia. She called and gave me the phone to talk. I told the person who could speak English, we are still waiting for the tour bus to pick us up. She said that the time that they had give us was a Brazilian time and did not realize that we had booked our Iguazu falls tour for Argentine side. It was a mixed up situation by Expedia and the agency. Finally after 1.5 hours waiting in that hotel , a van came and picked us up drove us to the Iguazu falls. There we had to pay 500 Pesos to enter the park. Could not find the guide that we had been promised will wait for us. Finally we decided to go to the park ourselves. I asked other guides if they knew who our guide was, they said no. Finally around 12:30PM, one other guide tried to call the tour agency and said the guide will be there soon. Go to tat restaurant and wait. The guide came after 45 minutes and could not speak a word of English and told us you should go back with me at 1:30PM. We said we had not seen anything yet, and she left us alone. After ending our tour and being so disappointed that we had paid Expedia $145 per person, Total of almost $285 we had to pay an Extra 400 pesos ( $25USD) to a taxi to take us back to our hotel. It was the worst experience ever . We wasted so many hours just waiting for the tour bus and never got on it. Please consider this as an unsatisfied customer's response and please consider to reimburse our money back since this was a complete rip -off.
