On the historic grounds of Kamehameha the Great's former estate, a Polynesian luau unfolds, with traditional dancing, scrumptious buffet, and spectacular fire knife show.

The evening begins as your host greets you with a lei and a tropical drink. Take a souvenir photo before joining the party for a Polynesian arts and crafts demonstration, where you learn how to weave coconut fronds as well as the secret to opening coconuts.

Gather to watch the uncovering of the imu—the kalua pig that has been cooked in the underground oven. Dinner is served up as an all-you-can eat buffet featuring an array of Polynesian cuisine like kalua pork, island catch, and fresh produce.

As the sun sets, the sound of drums fills the air. Dancers emerge performing native Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, and Maorian dances. The dancing and singing is meant to do more than just entertain, however; it also tells the stories and legends of the islands. The iconic highlight of the performance is a daring fire knife dance.
