From country and rockabilly to funk and soul, Memphis has music for everyone. Stop at the Stax Museum of American Soul to learn about artists like Otis Redding and Sam & Dave. Then, visit Sun Studio, where Elvis Presley recorded, followed by the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum.

Your guide, a Memphis-music aficionado, meets your hotel and takes you straight to The Stax Museum. Founded as a Memphis alternative to Motown, Stax Records is known for acts such as Otis Redding and The Staples Sisters. Listen as your guide tells you the history of this famous studio's transformation over the years. Wander past a recreation of a 101-year-old Mississippi Delta church that helps illustrate the gospel roots of soul music, and then form a line at the Soul Train dance floor.

After getting a feel for soul, head to Sun Studio to discover this country and rock music mecca. Walk in the footsteps of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis as you explore this historic space. Your guide provides you with all the background you need to understand the early days of rock and roll. End your tour at the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, which highlights the many sonic styles of Memphis in a single place.
