Amazing! 4.2/5 Expedia Guest Rating

Get up close to animals—from alligators to zebras—in this nationally accredited zoo and 44-acre historic botanical garden. Enjoy a day of wildlife presentations, feed giraffes, cruise through islands full of monkeys, and explore Tiger Forest, Leopard Rock, Panther Glade, and much more.

Founded as a botanical garden in 1919, the zoo offers views of over 70 different species. Feed a herd of giraffes, or get close to rarely-seen animals such as the African honey badger and the Madagascar fossa. See favorites such as lions, bears, antelope, and other rare species at featured exhibits.

Watch venomous reptiles while chatting with professional handlers. Children can also feed fish at various feeding stations around the zoo. A Madagascar display features a replica of the largest egg ever laid, an elephant bird egg that you can touch.

Shows are presented daily in the Safari Canyon Theater; they feature live animals with stunning wildlife clips, illustrative graphics, and live cam close-up views. After the show, take the Primate Expedition Cruise, a guided boat tour through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes living in natural habitats.
