Embark on a full day of island hopping with a cruise to 2 of the most enchanting islands of Seychelles—Praslin and La Digue. Depart from Mahé to enjoy a morning in Praslin's natural paradise; then soak up the timeless and tranquil atmosphere of La Digue.

Your day begins with a morning cruise to the neighboring island of Praslin—the 2nd largest in the Seychelles. Visit the Vallée de Mai to see the only place in the world where the enormous Coco de Mer nut grows in its natural state. Stroll along the winding forest paths and listen for the call of the rare Black Parrot. Pause for a delicious Creole buffet lunch of freshly caught fish and succulent fruit.

Hop back on board your comfortable catamaran and head to La Digue—on a 30-minute crossing that offers you a good chance to spot wild dolphins.

La Digue is still steeped in the tranquil atmosphere of days gone by. Admire the picturesque harbor, the examples of Creole architecture, and the restored mill at L'Union Estate. Take a ride on a camion—an open-sided truck—to Anse Source d'Argent, one of the world's most famous beaches, renowned for its spectacular granite formations.

This was a great trip although it is a long day so one should be prepared!! Masons Travel organised things extremely efficiently, we were picked up at our hotel and taken to the ferry port and then returned to our hotel at the end of the trip. The visits to both islands were very well led by the guide who spoke excellent English and French which was good as we had a small group (7 only) which included visitors from both UK and France. The buffet lunch included was very reasonable and each of the locations we visited was really well explained by the guide. A great day out, well worthwhile - not a cheap tour at all but then again there is an awful lot included for the money!!

Weather not brilliant but must appreciate it is nearly the start of the wet season. Different mode of transport in the back of trucks, also a nice touch. La Digue an easy place to get around by bike, a must do next time. Lunch very good with Creole dishes
