Description

Visit the archaeological site of Huaca Rajada, where the royal tomb of the Lord of Sipan was discovered. You can see the archaeological complex of Tucume, famous for its pyramids and terraces, and explore the modern museum where the tomb's beautiful relics are displayed.

After pickup from your hotel in Chiclayo, the tour takes you to Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of the Lord of Sipan was found. The tomb stands as proof of the great wealth this culture possessed, comparable to the tomb of Tutankhamen in terms of the relative bounty of gold, precious stones, and fossil remains found within.

Next, visit Tucume, a region known as the Valley of Pyramids and home to mysterious constructions that date back to ancient times. Legend holds that the god Naylamp emerged from the sea with Ceterni, the Queen, bringing art and tools for construction, while archaeological findings reveal the maritime roots of this culture and its role as a commercial hub for the peoples of South America.

Depart to Lambayeque to visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipan, which exhibits the treasures found in one of the continent's most important discoveries. You can view amazing artifacts of gold, silver, precious stones, and other metals, and imagine the magical and mystical world of the ancient people who made them as you browse figures from their culture before returning to your hotel.
