Explore Wanhua, the oldest district of Taipei, and Bopiliao Old Street with a private guide. Your morning is filled with history as you visit the former Wanhua Lin House, the 18th-century Longshan Temple, and Grass Lane. End your tour with a meal in the ancient architecture of Bopiliao.

Meet up with your guide at Longshan Temple Station and walk to your first stop, the Mankah branch of Starbucks Coffee. The shop is housed in the former Wanhua Lin House, built more than 80 years ago and a well-preserved example of architecture from the Japanese colonial period, once inhabited by the richest family in the area. Next, make your way to Longshan Temple. Founded in 1738 by Han immigrants as a gathering place and place of worship for Chinese settlers, the Buddhist temple is rich in detail.

After browsing the temple, head toward Bopiliao Old Street. On the way, your guide points out Grass Lane, a narrow street once popular as a place to buy medicinal herbs. When you arrive at Bopiliao, note the well-preserved architecture from 200 years prior that lines the road, as well as the creative wall paintings made by local artists. Your guide invites you to lunch at a local restaurant that has been serving sumptuous Taiwanese dishes for over 60 years. After your delicious feast, return to Longshan Temple Station to end your tour.
