Rainforest Canopy & Zipline Expedition

by Alaska Canopy Adventures Duration 3h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $189

Channel your inner Tarzan and take flight on this elevated adventure through the treetops. Tackle 8 speedy ziplines between canopy platforms, test your balance on suspension bridges high above the forest floor, and take in sweeping views of Eagle Creek and Tongass National Forest from your sky-high vantage point.

Board a shuttle in Ketchikan for the ride up the coast to the site of your eco-adventure, where you board a custom 4x4 for the off-road ride up the hillside to your starting point. Get outfitted in state-of-the-art safety gear, helmets, and harnesses as you listen to a thorough orientation to the obstacles ahead.

Once you're all set, leap into action. Feel the rush as you plunge from platforms and whir along 8 dual-cable ziplines between groves of spruce, hemlock, and cedar, flying across vast spans that stretch from 100 feet (30 m) up to 750 (228 m). Take on 6,000 feet (1,830 m) of high-tension cables and ground-based nature trails as you delve into the wilderness, racing across suspension bridges and clambering between platforms as high as 135 feet (41 m) above the forest floor.

As you traverse the course, watch the streams below for black bears fishing for salmon, look up to spot eagles flying overhead, and catch breathtaking views of Eagle Creek Falls before the final zipline whisks you across grassy wetlands to a viewing tower. Climb down and trade in your gear for a certificate of achievement and a well-deserved snack before your return ride to Ketchikan.
