Join this 2-day tour getting to know the proud heritage of Saga starting from a round of treasure hunting at mountain valley in top brand porcelain and pottery warehouses.

Day 1 after flight landing jump on relay taxis to Arita the small town known as one of the pioneering places to produce porcelain in the country. At over 150-year-old Kouraku Kiln, make full use of your time and take home all your favorites.

With your basket full of select souvenirs, leave Arita and move on by about 30 minute ride to Takeo town famous for its 1,300-year-old beauty therapy Takeo Onsen with high concentration of sodium bicarbonate.

After hotel check-in hurry up to catch the highlight of the day at Mifune-yama Rakuen (Garden) at walking distance.

The gardens covering 500,000 sqm on mountain slope and tracing back to reigning Nabeshima lord family across Edo Period, takes you through Saga mountains and rivers in their old days, takes you back to Saga mountains and rivers in their old days, thanks to innovative digital illumination artworks at night.   • The package does not include guide or tour conductor, but all instructions are provided for a smooth stay.

  • Hotel room allocation is 2 persons per room by default. One travelling alone is to have one room by him/herself. For party of 3 guests: 1 2-person room & 1 1-person room. For party of 4: 2 2-person rooms.

  • Same tour price for adults and children.

  • Children 2 and younger are complimentary (no seat, no accommodation, no meal).
