Delve into the underwater world of the Bahamas, exploring marine movie sets, eerie sunken wrecks, and vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical sea life on this guided snorkeling excursion.

After being picked up from your hotel, head to the docks – you may recognize this secluded cove as the set of the movie Flipper – and step aboard the Zambezi, a custom-built vessel designed specifically for snorkeling. Lounge on the upper sun deck as you skim across the waves to a beautiful shallow reef. Get acquainted with your snorkeling gear then slide into the water off the back of the boat. Swim leisurely over gently waving sea fans, flitting schools of colorful fish, and elaborate coral formations as you admire this serene marine realm.

Climb back on the boat and make your way out to your second destination. Depending on visibility and conditions, your captain will opt for either another shallow reef or a sunken wreck—the sandy seabed off the Bahamian coast is dotted with the ghostly skeletons of ships and airplanes. Swim up close to the wreckage of a small aircraft to spy timid moray eels and bright fish poking out of windows and crevices in the wreckage.

Finally, cruise out to your third and most daring destination to experience the thrill of snorkeling with Caribbean reef sharks. Observe these magnificent predators of the deep from the safety of the surface as they swarm around a bait box lowered down below you before your return trip to shore.

Was too crowded and took all day for a 3 hr

snorkeling excursion. I was picked up at 12:30 (30 min late ) and was brought to Stuart cove along with many others. Stranded in line and finally was onboard by 2:30. The staff onboard was excellent. The snorkeling was ok but the shark snorkel was excellent but probably wouldn't do it again! Going thru expedia was painful since when I got to Stuart cove they had no idea and I had to fumble around emailing a screenshot of my Expedia page. Not worth the hassle. Finally got back by 5:45p. Wouldn't do it again. Too crowded

Kareem made the experience even better by taking

our GoPro and getting fantastic photos/video of the fishes and sharks. This activity is a MUST!

The guide was nice, but each snorkel was rushed

and the water was way to rough to be in even with vest. We were on a thin rope during the shark part and we were out there maybe 3 minutes. The majority of time was spent on waiting on folks from the cruise ships to arrive. Out of all the snorkeling trips I've been on, this was the worst. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful in the water, but that's expected. Oh, and the boat was small and loud.
