What you can expect
One of the MUST SEEs in Hamburg takes you through 600 years of Hamburg’s murky past. Legends of bygone days brought back to life provide live entertainment at its best.
Who dares to enter the elevator of doom will be taken on an extraordinary time travel: where you hold your breath, wince, laugh and where each visitor is actively involved in the historic events – and thus becomes part of the history himself. Professional actors guide your guests through the dark years of the plague or on board of a pirate ship to rescue Klaus Störtebeker from execution.
Visitors experience the gruesome tortures of the 18th century or have to defend themselves at the courtroom and stand for the judge – always with a wink and the chance for scarily funny laughers. Witness the city’s history at first hand! New from July & August only: “Cadaver Revolt”- Find out what's behind the Brawn-Riots from 1919! The new temporary showpart illustrates why the rotten meat scandal infuriated the citizens of Hamburg 100 years ago. You'll meet manufacturer Mr. Starck, who will serve you the finest meat products in town… yummy!
Please note shows are in German. For English speaking shows please select English Tour Option.
