Small-Group Pasta-Making Class

by Walks of Italy Duration 3h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $96

During this small-group evening experience, get a real taste of Italian cooking as you learn how to make your own pasta from scratch with the help of a local chef. Based in the chef's studio in central Rome, drink wine as you learn the secret to great Italian food.

The evening starts with some prosecco, canapés, and wine on a beautiful terrace in central Rome. Get to know your small group of 14 people and chat with your chef for the evening before you roll up your sleeves and put on your apron.

Learn to make pasta from scratch—including forming the dough, rolling, cutting, and shaping it. Sip more wine as your chef teaches you how to make traditional Roman pasta sauce, such as amatriciana, and how to cook homemade pasta al dente. The little tricks make all the difference in Italian cooking.

Later, finish your evening back on the terrace and enjoy your own creations along with some more wine and dessert the chef prepared for you. With a small group of 14 people or fewer, your experience is intimate and relaxed—and best of all, you are able to recreate a delicious meal when you get home.

We never made it to the posts class we got a bad Taxi driver that charged us 2 times the price and dropped us in the wrong place. It took us longer to reach the redemption place and we were 6 minutes late. We got their and there was bunches of people around the statue and could not find our tour so we assumed we were to late and they wouldn’t Waite. There was several groups but no one acted as though they were our tour for posts class. We watched all of them walk away. So we guess ours had left before we arrive. We were surprised because we’ve done several tours and they have all waited on late people’s for 15 minuets. But I guess not this one and we were the ones that was 6 minutes late. Wish we could have done the classes but that’s life.

Amazing course led by Chefs Luca and Francesco. Beautifully prepared with libations a plenty. Their thoughtfulness had while addressing the students and the course itself is impeccable. We definitely would take any other course they would offer Highly recommend this course and most especially under their teaching. Fantastic experience had! To finish they celebrated our course with recipes and a certificate of completion. Amazing experience!!❤️❤️❤️

Francesco and Elena were our chefs and they made the pasta making experience extremely enjoyable. My friends and I agreed this was our favorite part of our entire trip to Rome. The food and wine was amazing and the small group class was intimate but yet big enough to meet different people.
