Small-Group Undiscovered Vilnius Tour

by Urban Adventures Duration 3h Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $44

Succumb to the charms of Vilnius during a guided exploration of Lithuania's enchanting capital featuring trendy, bohemian neighborhoods and ancient cathedrals, complete with a tasting of culinary specialties and locally brewed beers.

Meet your guide in Old Town—a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe. Here, a fusion of Lithuanian, Jewish, Russian, and Polish cultures can be seen throughout its shops, restaurants, and churches.

Stop for a visit to a Roman Catholic church by the name of St. Anne’s—a stunning example of brick Gothic architecture—so charming that Napoleon reportedly said he wanted to carry it home to Paris “in the palm of his hand.”

Continue on the cobblestoned streets to the Bohemian district of Uzupis, an area home to artists, musicians, and free spirits. Listen to some of the stories that surround this hip district as you scope out its out-of-this-world street art, colorful murals, and creative galleries.

Pop into a seafood shop to taste traditional smoked or dried fish, a Lithuanian specialty, before pulling up a seat at a local pub. Try a sampling of Lithuanian beers produced in small, family-owned breweries—a perfect ending to your tour.

The small group ended up being just my husband and me. The guide was awesome. She asked us what we wanted to get out of the experience and made sure we got what we were looking for. This tour should be the first thing one should do when going to Vilnius. It sets the tone for the rest of the visit.

I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Vilnius. You get everything: history, art, culture, even a little bit of food advice. My guides Leva and Tauno were so fun, knowledgeable, and exceptionally friendly. There was plenty of sites to see and Vilnius is a city full of diverse culture! I did this tour on my second day in Vilnius and I am so glad because I ended up going back to many of the places that we visited. Additionally, the guides are really chill... so if there's something that you had researched before that you wanted to see, you can definitely mention it to them and they will either show you where it is or take you themselves. This was hands down the funnest tour I've ever been on and the guide(s) show you around more like you are friends or family! Do it!!!!

Viktorka was an amazing tour guide! We loved every minute of it. She was knowledgeable, interesting, funny, and introduced us to places we would have never discovered on our own. We highly recommend this tour!
