Description

Via Ferrata is a fun, one-hour hiking and climbing activity! It's as easy as climbing a ladder. With fixed cables, easy-to-grab handholds, and little obstacles including catwalks, this is the ideal way for beginners to get a taste of rock climbing's delights.

Join your guide at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola, which whisks visitors from sea level up 2,900 feet (885 metres) to stunning viewpoints surrounding the lodge. At the top, you will meet your guide at the Summit Shelter to put on a helmet and a safety harness. You hike down a short trail to the route start, clip on to the safety cables and climb up, grabbing and stepping on the iron rungs (like climbing a ladder) to reach vantage points where you can admire the sparkling waters of Howe Sound and British Columbia's undulating landscape of never-ending evergreen forests.

Traverse cliff-hugging catwalks, move across small suspended bridges, and make your way up to the finishing point near the sundeck of the Sea to Sky Summit Lodge, where you can high-five your fellow climbers, snap photos of snow-capped peaks, and consider a cold drink to celebrate your exhilarating ascent.

We have guided everyone from small children to grandparents on this tour. Give it a try!
